Construction and property developing has been a family occupation for several generations and the Aris brothers use their combined knowledge and experience too continuously develop their company. "My wife and I bought a house in Hertfordshire in 1982 and extended it in 1996. I thought we were finished with house buying until we found the S&S development just 20 minutes drive from our son’s family near Silverstone.
S&S’ combination of Cotswold stone outer build with limestone floors to the kitchen and dining room provides that feeling of durability and cottage comfort. The oak flooring in the lounge and study and oak staircase leading up to a further 3 rooms, one with en-suite and a family bathroom provided the modern day essentials for luxury and comfort. Oil heating (under floor for limestone areas otherwise by radiators) during the worst winter for 30 years has cost us £150 less than our previous home, which is a great testament to the efficiency of the insulation and double glazing. Sales of our house and the other properties around the trough of the economic recession show our view of these properties was shared by other discerning buyers.
